Chris B. Wiggins for Congress

Let Us Help You
Make History

Time for a Change

In the dynamic blend of our community’s diverse experiences, Chris stands out as a living testament to resilience and inclusivity. Born in Norfolk, Virginia, and raised in a working-class military household in Northern San Diego, California, he understands the unique challenges facing our neighborhood, which, for too long, has been represented by the same individual in Congress for 32 years.

Navigating through a youth marked by gang violence in our community, Chris’s journey reflects the strength found in diversity. Growing up in a military city, he embraced his background and learned the values of family, hard work, and community. His mother and grandmother, both strong, independent business owners, instilled in him the belief that everyone, regardless of their background, deserves equal opportunities to overcome the odds.

A graduate of the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and a subsequent Master’s degree from Georgetown University, Chris brings a fresh perspective shaped by his experiences. He immersed himself in public service, interning with U.S. Representative Kenny Marchant and actively participating in his university’s Student Senate—all while working in the human resources field.

For over 15 years, Chris has dedicated himself to local civic engagement, advocating for change in a community that has been faithfully represented by the same voice for decades. His service includes a term with a Los Angeles Neighborhood Council, involvement with the Education Committee, and leadership roles with organizations such as the West LA Democrat Club and California’s Democratic Freedom Caucus.

As a proud homeowner in Inglewood, Chris has spent nearly a decade volunteering with organizations like A Place Called Home and Hawkins High DAGS, embodying the unity and diversity of our community. His commitment to inclusivity, self-determination, and community-focused leadership is a breath of fresh air for constituents who have long sought a new perspective in Congress.

Now, more than ever, our community deserves a representative who reflects the diversity and vitality of the people it serves. Chris stands as a beacon of change, ready to break the cycle of stagnation and offer a dynamic voice that resonates with the rich diversity that makes our community unique. It’s time for a fresh start, and Chris is prepared to bring new energy, ideas, and inclusive representation to Congress, truly reflecting the vibrant mosaic of our community.
